Chidham is a village in the Chichester District of West Sussex, England.
It is a small, attractive rural parish situated five miles west of Chichester with a series of public footpaths for walkers and the expanse of Chichester Harbour close by.
At the heart of the parish is the church of St Mary. The parish is served by a railway halt and a half-hour bus service along the A259. There is a primary school, a village hall, post office, garage/shop and three public houses including The Barleycorn and The Old House at Home.
Located adjacent to the Bosham Channel the area has a strong sailing bias and there are two local activity centres and two riding stables.
