Seaward is delighted to be sponsoring Kevin Marsh from Savills and his team on a sponsored cycle ride through France later this year. Teams will leave Portsmouth on the on Wednesday 28th September. Starting under the historic walls of this maritime city, they will cycle from Brittany into Normandy and head south over the Loire to spend the first night in Saumur. Then, following river valleys that climb into the foothills of the Massif Central, they will spend the second night on the outskirts of the city of Limoges. Riding on south towards the headwaters of the Dordogne on day three, the Challenge finish line is the 14th century medieval bridge over the river Lot at Cahors. Teams will return to Portsmouth from Caen on Sunday 2nd October.
Whilst teams can donate half of what they raise to a charity of their own choice, the remainder will be donated to Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation The team’s chosen charities are the Lewis-Manning Hospice and Off The Record a free, confidential counseling and information service for young people in the Portsmouth and Havant area.
